John "Jonathan" Pryce, CBE is a Welsh stage and film actor and singer, known for such roles as Elliot Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies and Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio in the film The Two Popes, which he was nominated for a Best Leading Actor Academy Award.
For Disney, he played Mr. Dark in Something Wicked This Way Comes, Marty Bronson in Bedtime Stories, Weatherby Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, and Colonel Juan Peron in Evita.
