Jonathan Harshman Winters III was an American comedian, actor, author, and artist. He was best known for his role as Lennie Pike in the 1963 comedy film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, and as the voice of Papa Smurf in the live-action films The Smurfs and its 2013 sequel, which was released after his death.

His Disney roles included the Night Watchman and Talking Pumpkin in the Wonderful World of Disney episode, "Halloween Hall o' Fame", the Thief in the Miramax version of The Thief and the Cobbler, and special guest appearances on The Mouse Factory (hosting the episode "Interplanetary Travel"), The Muppet Show (in Episode 416), The Wonderful World of Disney episode "Mickey's 50", and the 1971 TV special, The Grand Opening of Walt Disney World. He also did the voice role of the Magic Carnival Baker in Disney's MathQuest With Aladdin.
