Joseph Christopher Pepe is an American effects animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Pepe began his career at Disney in the early 1990s, becoming a full-time employee in 1992, where he worked on animated features such as The Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Mulan as well as the Aladdin video game. He left the studio in 2002 but continues to contribute to the company through other production companies he's affiliated with.
Other features he worked on include Alita: Battle Angel, Alien vs. Predator, Charlotte's Web (2006), Iron Man, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Predators, The Cabin in the Woods, and Rebel Moon. He also contributed extensively to James Cameron's Avatar franchise where he helped establish the discriminating level of detail and authenticity while maintaining the humanity of the alien main character, the Na'Vi.
