Joshua Ilan "Josh" Gad is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, and singer. He is best known for his role as Arnold Cunningham in the Broadway musical The Book of Mormon. He is also well-known for portraying Ludlow Lamonsoff in the 2015 video game film Pixels, as well as voicing Louis in Blue Sky's Ice Age: Continental Drift and Chuck in Sony Pictures' The Angry Birds Movie and its 2019 sequel. Additionally, he is one of the creators of the Apple TV+ adult animated sitcom Central Park, in which he also voiced Birdie.
For Disney, he voiced Olaf in the 2013 Disney animated feature film Frozen, and reprised this role in most of the character's appearances, including the short film Frozen Fever, the Sofia the First episode "Olaf and the Tale of Miss Nettle", Olaf's Frozen Adventure, Kingdom Hearts III, Frozen II, At Home With Olaf, Once Upon a Snowman, and Olaf Presents. He also voiced Wendell in the Phineas and Ferb episodes "Doof 101" and "O.W.C.A. Files" and the Controller in Star Wars Rebels. Additionally, he portrayed LeFou in the 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, as well as the upcoming Disney+ series Little Town. He is also the narrator in the National Geographic original series The Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom.
He also portrayed Mulch Diggums in the 2020 film Artemis Fowl and will play Nick Szalinski in the upcoming film Shrunk.
