The attraction permanently closed on January 1, 2008 to make way for Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian, six days before Disney's MGM Studios was renamed to Disney's Hollywood Studios in that same year.
Summary[]
Guests entered the interior of the building whose entrance doors were represented by the magical wardrobe from Professor Digory Kirke's mansion (in reference to the wardrobe serving as the entrance to the Narnia universe. The doors automatically opened where guests proceeded into a section which represents the world of Narnia while hearing pre-recorded narration from Liam Neeson (voice of Aslan) that the story of Narnia began from the Lamppost all the way to the castle of Cair Paravel and the narration telling a story about the events of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and how the universe was negatively affected by Jadis the White Witch who spread the winter curse all across the kingdom of Narnia. Jadis (portrayed by a cast member) appeared in the attraction, giving out a warning, "If it is a war Aslan wants, then it's a war he shall get." After the narration, guests passed by a movie screen showing footage recapping the events of the first film and after watching the featurette, they also passed by props that were used in the movie itself such as statues of creatures that were petrified by Jadis who used her wand against them, a life-sized model of Jadis' sleigh, or even authentic costumes worn by the actors who participated in the Narnia film.
