Judson Pratt was an American actor, whose longest continuing work was in thirteen episodes of ABC's Walt Disney Presents and NBC's Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. Pratt was cast as Captain Cooper in the 1958-1959 ABC Disney miniseries Texas John Slaughter with Tom Tryon. In 1970, he appeared as Scott Shellog in the NBC Disney two-part "The Wacky Zoo of Morgan City". Later that same year, Pratt was cast as Father O'Flaherty in Disney's "Hang Your Hat on the Wind". In 1972, he appeared twice as the character Andy in the two-part episode "Michael O'Hara the Fourth" in the leading role as "Mike" O'Hara. Early in 1974, Pratt was cast as Sergeant O'Halloran in the two-part Disney segment "The Whiz Kid and the Mystery at Riverton", with co-stars Edward Andrews, Lonny Chapman, and Maudie Prickett. His last Disney role was as Mr. Pomeroy on March 14 and 21, 1976, in the two-part "The Flight of the Grey Wolf". He also appeared in The Barefoot Executive and The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes.
Born in Hingham, Massachusetts. Pratt made his theatre debut in 1941 as the Western Union Messenger in the Broadway play Popsy. He also made his debut on film and television, first appearing in Armstrong Circle Theatre. His other television credits included Barney Miller, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Father Knows Best, Perry Mason, The Streets of San Francisco, Rawhide, Nanny and the Professor, Mission: Impossible, Kung Fu, Mister Ed, Little House on the Prairie, The Partridge Family, Bewitched, Charlie's Angels, and Days of Our Lives. Pratt had one regular role as Billy Kincaid in Union Pacific.
He also appeared and co-starred in films, like The Horse Soldiers, The Toy Tiger, Outside the Law, I Confess, Four Girls in Town, The Great American Pastime, Man Afraid, Vigilante Force, Kid Galahad, Somebody Up There Likes Me, Sergeant Rutledge, Cheyenne Autumn, A Distant Trumpet, Thriller, and The Ugly American.
Pratt died on February 9, 2002 in Northridge, California, at the age of 85. His body was cremated.
