Jumba & Pleakley's Bed & Not Breakfast is a makeshift hotel seen in Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
Background[]
In the episode "Shoe", when Lilo decides to try to get the ʻohana some supplemental income to help pay off Nani's overdue bills, she has Jumba and Pleakley use the former's ship to convert it into a hotel entitled "Jumba & Pleakley's Bed & Not Breakfast" with the help of Stitch and a few of Stitch's cousins. When Lilo, Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley later invite guests over at their makeshift hotel, Experiment 113 (Shoe) secretly causes problems by generating bad luck for everyone. The hotel ultimately fails but they are rewarded with good luck when they unexpectedly help the police catch a con artist who has been giving away fake oversized checks, earning them enough reward money to pay off Nani's bills.
This hotel is seen again in the crossover episode "Spats", having recently reopened at the time of the episode, though it continues to struggle with getting guests. The Proud Family and a hotel critic named Mr. Cooper comes to visit Hawaii and stay in the "Bed and Not Breakfast" for their separate vacations, the former party staying for a professional wrestling event hosted by Wizard Kelly, and the latter as part of a review for his employer's magazine Relaxing Times. Thanks to the obnoxious behavior of the Prouds, the effects of Experiment 397's (Spats') powers, and Pleakley's incompetency at trying to maintain peace and quiet, Mr. Cooper ends up writing the most negative review he's ever given, thus tarnishing the Bed & Not Breakfast's already low reputation. However, Lilo has Penny Proud's article about the latter's vacation published in the Kokaua Town Gazette, believing that it would attract alien-seeking tourists. Nevertheless, the Bed & Not Breakfast is never seen again after this episode.
