"Jungle Jumble" is the one hundred twenty-sixth episode of Doc McStuffins. It premiered on November 3, 2019, and is the seventh episode in the fifth season.
Plot[]
Chilly tells different patients to head to different exam rooms when he gets a call from Luna. Just then, Doc,Hallie, and Sproingo Boingo arrive. Chilly knew it was them even though he was looking the other direction, as he notices the familiar sounds. It's easy when he's in his happy place at Hospital Reception. The patients fill out the forms before forming a single-file line. Doc assumes Chilly is very good at this, and he states that he's never been good at anything in his whole life before, except for getting checkups. Hallie states that Chilly is the best when it comes to reception. Chilly assumes that it feels good to be good at something.
However, Lambie tells Doc that the baby doll from earlier isn't getting better. Doc decides to do a special procedure with Lambie assisting Doc. Chilly will be in charge of the nursery during that time, marking his first time volunteering. Chilly states he can do it by himself. The other toys will help Chilly if he feels like it. Chilly is in charge of changing the babies' diapers, give them baths, get all their charts in order, and make sure they're fed. Chilly will do all of this, as well as remember to gather up all the babies, and make sure he doesn't forget a single one.
A confident Chilly states he can do the job with his eyes closed when he stumbles upon the babies, who quickly surround him. Chilly knows he can do it, and he organizes everything. However, he realizes how scary the babies can be. They also refuse to form a single-file line. Chilly puts them into the line, but they quickly go out of control. Soon, Hallie comes and sees what's happening. Chilly tells what he's doing, and still refuses to ask questions. Chilly refuses Hallie's help with the diapers. Hallie will still be around, and tells Chilly that on checkup day, all the babies will be gathered and prepared for their checkups.
Chilly puts a baby in her bed and tries to get her diaper on but has a hard time doing so. Meanwhile, Doc and Lambie are giving another baby a cuddle when Lambie hopes Chilly's doing okay in the nursery. After Doc mentions it, Lambie is sure Chilly knows what he's doing. Meanwhile, Chilly finishes the diapering and decides to gather all of the babies. He wonders if he should only gather the babies in the hospital, and thinks Doc also included baby animals. Chilly knows someone whose job is to bring babies to the nursery: Stuart, who then arrives with more babies.
Stuart tells Chilly if he's here alone, and Chilly states that he's doing great. Chilly knows Stuart and his job. He tells him to get all of the baby animals from the jungle to the nursery as quickly as possible, per Doc's orders. Stuart decides to call in some friends. Later, Stuffy sees what's going on in the nursery, that being the babies causing mischief. Chilly explains everything to Stuffy, including bringing in too many baby animals. With the animals causing more mischief, Chilly tries to come up with a plan to round up the animals. Stuffy goes to get the pet carriers in the vet clinic. Eventually, Chilly tells a panda baby that it was nice when Doc though he was good at the stuff, and explains what will happen if she walks through the door. Chilly decides to fix the problem by first preventing two babies from heading on the carriage to Baby Land. Chilly then brings the babies to Baby Land, just as Stuffy said, as that is where they belong.
Just then, Doc, Lambie, and Hallie arrive for the checkup when they see the babies gone. Stuffy arrives with the pet carriers and wonders where the animals went. Still, Chilly is nervous to tell what happened, and shaking occurs from everything around the hospital. It is coming from many animals running rampant all over town. Doc decides to stop them before someone gets hurt. Chilly states he messed up, but Stuffy tells him that everything will be fixed. Doc then tells Tony and Officer Pete that the animals will be put out of the way. Doc decides to find out why the animals are there, and tells Mrs. Lion that she's here to help. The lion is looking for her babies, and a rhino states that the babies never came back to the hospital. While the lion looks for her baby, Levi, Doc and the toys decide to go with the rhino to the hospital. An alligator then arrives from the hospital and mentions the missing babies. The animals then continue their trample to search for their babies.
Chilly apologizes, as he was so happy when Doc said he was good at things at Reception. He panicked in the nursery and didn't ask any questions. Chilly states that if he asked questions, that would mean he wasn't good at stuff anymore, so he made lots of mistakes. Doc states that everyone has to ask questions, even her, when she is learning something new. Asking questions only means Chilly is curious and brave. Chilly finally realizes it and mentions sending the baby animals to Baby Land with the babies. Chilly wonders what needs to be done. Doc and the toys decide to fix everything before the animals turn the town into one big jungle jam up.
Stuffy has some ideas when Doc has another idea, one that involves going to Baby Land and bring back the babies. The lion will calm everyone down while the others find the babies. Stuart gives Doc and the toys a lift to Baby Land where the babies are causing lots of mischief. Doc sees that a lot of the babies are wearing animal onesies. Lambie catches both pandas, with the one on the right being a real panda. Doc and Hallie then hear an elephant, and round him and a baby with an elephant onesie up. They are teaching each other how to act, as do the other babies and their animal counterparts. Doc has an idea to line up all the babies so they know who's who. Chilly knows how to do that, and he soon rounds every animal and baby up. All of the baby dolls are on the left and the baby animals on the right. Chilly thanks everyone for the help, and vows that it will never happen again, as from now on, he will always ask questions when he doesn't know what to do.
Doc and the toys soon send the baby dolls back to the nursery and the baby animals back to their parents. The animals are delighted to see their babies again. Chilly is glad everything's back to normal. As for Levi, he's still missing. Turns out, he's curled up in a cozy blanket of palm leaves. Chilly knows where that is: in a box. Levi is revealed to be in there the entire time, and the lion thanks Chilly for the help before leaving with Levi. Chilly apologizes for causing all the trouble, but Doc says it's okay as they fixed the big jungle jumble together. Chilly finally learns that it's okay to ask questions whenever he feels like it. If he does so, he'll get better. When Chilly doesn't know what to do, he can always ask anything. When a baby is heard crying, Chilly questions what needs to be done. Lambie decides to give the baby the bottle of mil. With everything under control in the nursery, Chilly can go back to Reception. However, he'd like to stay in the nursery a little longer, as he wants to learn more about babies. Hallie decides to cover Reception for the time being. Chilly questions what the different equipment in the nursery is, and Lambie answers everything. When Chilly falls, he states he likes asking questions and wishes it didn't make him so dizzy.
