- Given that she lives in Peaks Valley up to when Kai and James relocated there, it's possible that she raised James in Peaks Valley before he went to Division 1 and lived somewhere else for a duration of time before moving back to Peaks Valley.
- Like her son James, Kai's grandmother appears to be single implying she is either widowed or divorced (the former is more likely).
