Kate Garry Hudson is an American actress. She is well known for her role as Penny Lane in the 2000 comedy Almost Famous (for which she won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actress). She also starred in films, such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Skeleton Key, You, Me and Dupree, Fool's Gold, Bride Wars, and Deepwater Horizon.
Her Disney roles include Lucy Owens in the 2000 Miramax film About Adam, Ethne Eustace in the 2002 Miramax/Paramount film The Four Feathers, and Helen Harris in the 2004 Touchstone Pictures film Raising Helen.
