"Keep on the Ball" is the second segment of the twenty-first episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse. It premiered on September 2, 2022 alongside "Daisy and the Muses".
Plot[]
After sitting around the Funhouse, the friends decide to play in Sportopia.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins inside Funny, where the gang is sitting around doing lazy activities. After spending too much sitting down, Goofy realizes that his legs have fallen asleep. Funny suggests that the gang go to Sportopia to get some exercise. The excited friends agree.
When everyone arrives in Sportopia, they find the place to be empty. They decide to go play volleyball, but are unable to when they find Clarabelle relaxing on the volleyball court using the net as a hammock. She explains that everyday, while everyone is participating in their respective exercise or sport, Referee Cuckoo-Loca blows a whistle calling for a time-out so everyone can rest before blowing it again and call time back in. The day before, she blew her whistle to call for a time-out but has not called for time-in since. The gang decides to go to the stadium to look for the referee, but instead find Powerhouse Pete and his team relaxing on the baseball diamond. After some talking, the gang see Champion Chip and Dynamo Dale running around. Pluto immediately begins chasing them.
Mickey tries to stop Pluto, but Referee Cuckoo-Loca appears, telling Mickey to let Pluto chase the chipmunks. She explains that the day before, she blew her whistle to call timeout but the chipmunks then stole it from her, preventing her from calling time back in. The gang chase the chipmunks around before finding the whistle in their tree. Chip and Dale try to run off with the whistle but are exhausted from running around for so long, allowing Cuckoo-Loca to rightfully take it back. The two explain that timeout is the only time of day that they can run around an exercise without getting in anyone's way. There are only two timeouts a day, so they decided to take the whistle to allow for more time to exercise. The gang decide to make a little exercise area for the chipmunks and Cuckoo-Loca agrees to call for four timeouts a day to allow more rest for everybody. The gang soon returns to Funny. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.
