Kevin Delaney Kline is an American film and stage actor, voice actor, comedian, and singer. He is best known for his roles in many films, such as The Big Chill, Silverado, A Fish Called Wanda, Dave, In & Out, Wild Wild West, and The Pink Panther. He also voiced Tulio in the 2000 DreamWorks animated film The Road to El Dorado, Chef Andre in the 2008 adaptation of The Tale of Despereaux, and Calvin Fischoeder in Bob's Burgers.
For Disney, he voiced Phoebus in the 1996 Disney animated feature film The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the animated storybook, and its 2002 sequel, as well as reprised his voice role of Calvin Fischoeder in the 2022 Fox animated film The Bob's Burgers Movie (based on the animated TV series of the same name). He also played Maurice in the 2017 live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Additionally, he portrayed Richard Parker in Consenting Adults.

- He was considered to voice Woody in Toy Story, but the role was given to Tom Hanks instead.
- The role of Inspector Gadget in the 1999 film of the same name was written with Kline in mind.
- For Kline's voice work as Phoebus, directors Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale gave him a sword. They also named the horse Achilles because it was funny to hear Kline say, "Achilles, heel."
