When Br'er Rabbit needed help from his aunt, Mama-Bama, to help get his smartness back if only he would do as his aunt tells him what to do. King Lion could be seen relaxing on a tree, while Mama-Bama told Br'er Rabbit to get a rope and tie him to a tree. But Br'er Rabbit had an idea to trick King Lion by telling him that a hurricane is coming, and Br'er Rabbit tied King Lion around the tree.

Br'er Rabbit fixes up a friendship

When Br'er Rabbit helped Br'er Bear, King Lion approached by walking, leaving Br'er Rabbit to hide behind a rock, when Br'er Bear was walking and ignoring King Lion as he was yelling at Br'er Bear to get his attention, then he walked away.
