History

Development

After the success of Disneyland's Splash Mountain attraction, other parks such as Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland began to create concept ideas for their attractions. In Tokyo Disneyland, one of the artists made concept art of a layout of Critter Country for their own Splash Mountain attraction, featuring King Sun, one of the characters from the Uncle Remus folktales, who could be seen in the background.
