King Triton

King Triton is a character who appears in the Disney Jr. animated series Ariel. He is the sea king of Atlantica and the father of Ayanna, Alanna and Ariel.

He is based the character of the same name from both the The Little Mermaid and the 2023 live-action remake.

Trivia[]

Unlike the original character, this version of King Triton is neither hostile towards humans nor is he overprotective of Ariel. He also does not mind Ariel collecting human stuff.
- He is also the first version to be dark skinned.
He is the first version of King Triton to have less than seven daughters.
This is the second version of King Triton to have Ursula as his sister, after the live action character.
