The King and Queen of Maldonia have been revealed to be featured in the upcoming attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Therefore, the Imagineering are creating the animatronics of the King and Queen to make their appearance in the attraction.

The Princess and the Frog[]
The King and Queen are first mentioned by their son Naveen, whom they cut off from his inheritance due to his lazy lifestyle, leaving him penniless in hopes he could learn to support himself, which leaves him with the choice of reluctantly marrying a wealthy young woman named Charlotte La Bouff to become rich again.
The King and Queen can be seen at the end of the film, where they proudly see their son, Prince Naveen marrying Tiana at a church. Then, they can be seen again at Tiana's Palace, where Naveen greets his family to his wife, Tiana, and her mother, Eudora in "Down in New Orleans" final sequence with food he learned to mince.

The King and Queen are a major part in the game, which takes place after the events of the film where Tiana and friends are in the mix of transforming the run-down mill building into her dream restaurant.
Along with many other characters, they are seen inside the restaurant for the fifth act of the game "Act 5: Mardi Gras".

They King and Queen are seen in a wedding picture of Tiana and their son, Naveen inside the Tiana's Foods headquarters.
The King and Queen appeared in the "Special Spice" final sequence where they are seen dancing inside the conservatory of Fleur du Bayou next to Eli La Bouff and Lucia, as Tiana and Naveen are hosting the Mardi Gras party.
