Kiron is a character from the Disney animated series Gargoyles.
Background[]
Kiron serves as a member of the New Olympus security force. Being a centaur, he is depicted as a human with dark-brown skin with his torso depicted with pale brown skin, having four hooves each. However, not much of Kiron's personality is known as he doesn't speak much. Like most New Olympians, Kiron did not show a sympathetic personality towards humans who arrive at New Olympus.
Role in the series[]
In "The New Olympians", Kiron approaches Elisa Maza whom he thinks she is a threat to the New Olympians, alongside Helios and Taurus. Just as Elisa tries to explain that she is meaning no harm, Taurus suddenly captures her and takes her to the Senate House accusing her for being a threat. Later, Kiron brings in Elisa whom he and Helios captured in front of a large crowd at the Senate House where everyone is shocked to see a human inside. After Elisa is dismissed, Kiron later took part in a riot when he and the other New Olympians see Elisa on the streets where they threaten to kill her. During the riot, Goliath confronts him and engages in a duel. However, Taurus silences the riot, arresting Elisa again for causing a riot on the streets. He is then seen guarding the entrance to Elisa's cell with a spear which Goliath tackles him and knocks him out unconscious just as he manages to rescue Elisa from her cell.
Kiron then later approaches Angela shining his light upon her and Bronx, asking Elisa to know where Elisa is at just as he confronts Elisa in combat only for Bronx to tackle him in combat which Angela was captured by a rope fired by him, followed by Kiron getting Bronx out of him in his stone form, just as he plans to return to New Olympus. He makes no further appearances after that, even after Elisa was rescued from New Olympus and later being allowed to leave the island.
