Kiwi's First Flight is the second episode of the first season of Lights, Camera, Lexi!
Synopsis[]
Kiwi loses his lucky hat when taking his first flight, and he must overcome his fear of flight to get it back.
Plot[]
Lexi is ready to present a new movie to her audience. Today's movie is a musical, where Lexi's friend uses song and dance to tell her story!
Kiwi is a young bird who is scared to fly on his own. When he tries to go out on his first flight, his hat flies away. He climbs up the tree to get it.
On the way up, he meets a giraffe and asks him where his hat went. The giraffe asks Kiwi why he needs a flying hat, to which he replies that he is afraid to fly on his own. The giraffe tells Kiwi that his hat flew to the top of the tree, and that Kiwi doesn't need his hat. He also shares that he was once afraid of his own height, before he tells the young bird that he can be brave and overcome his fear of flight.
Continuing up, Kiwi finally reaches the top, but his hat flies away when he tries to get it. He then decides to try to fly on his own and overcomes his fear, finally getting his hat back and now flying with his friends. Together, they sing one final song, and the film ends.
Back to Lexi, who sings a one-liner from the finale before she says her signing off catchphrase.
