Kristine Sanchez is a supporting character in the Disney Channel series Hailey's On It! She is the daughter of Dr. Ricardo and Mrs. Sanchez. She is a social media influencer, Hailey Banks' friend, and Scott Denoga's ex-girlfriend. She is a Mexican-American girl.

According to Devin Bunje, one of the co-creators of Hailey's On It!, said in a interview that he wanted to play against the Popular Girl trope who is often portrayed as the "Mean Girl" in media with Kristine Sanchez by making her the Nice Popular Girl.
"Yeah, we really wanted to play against the trope of the popular girl at school being a jerk to people. It's actually the opposite. She's almost annoyingly sweet and nice. Even when she ends-up asking out Scott in front of Hailey, she can't help but say "Yes" because she knows it's in a polite, friendly way. We really like going against that trope."

Personality[]
Kristine is an extroverted and talkative young girl who makes it her goal to leave a positive impression on everyone. She is unaware of the fact that she can be demanding, overly controlling, and slightly self-absorbed, but she is not cruel or mean-spirited about it. Kristine is a genuinely sweet and good-natured person and does not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable and tries to be helpful as best she can.

Kristine is a Mexican-American girl and thus has light brown skin and long, wavy brown hair. She is described as "tall" by Hailey, and has noticeably wide hips. She also wears brown lipstick and pink eyeliner. Her usual attire consists of pink tank top, yellow blouse, white capri pants, and brown loafers. She also has a variety of hats, her most prominent being a sun hat.
History[]
Kristine Sanchez was born sometime in early 2008 to Mrs. And Dr. Ricardo Sanchez.
In her high school life, Kristine became popular and developed a crush on Scott Denoga, who she began dating after confronting he was not dating his friend Hailey Banks. Their relationship remained strong, despite Kristine feeling envious of Scott and Hailey's bond as friends. When her father hijacked her Quinceañera, Scott helped Kristine stand up to her controlling for taking over the festivities. However, when Kristine tried to get Scott to help her prepare for her audition for Hat House, her favorite show, he kept bailing on her. Kristine used a boy named Logan to make Scott jealous to not avail. Eventually she got on the show and, because her boyfriend refused to help, she broke up with him through a phone call.
While on Hat House, Kristine was happy but became agitated upon learning another girl wanted to ask out Scott so soon after a break up and asked Hailey to find the girl for her, unaware that Hailey was the girl. Eventually Kristine, made it to the semifinals of Hat House and returned to Oceanside to have Hailey, who was already overworked, help out in a fashion show. The following day, Hailey- who gained confidence through a leather jacket she was given for the show- told Kristine to handle things herself and Kristine realized she had not thanked Hailey for her service. After Hailey saves her show and Scott models one of her hats, Kristine advances. After the show, she tells Hailey she had that confidence in her all along.
Eventually, Kristine wins Hat House, but becomes old news after a more well known celebrity is said to be competing on the show’s next season. She spends the day moping with Hailey and decides to give up hats. In an attempt to cheer Kristine up, Hailey suggests they go to a spa she won passes for on Hat House At the spa, Kristine passes out due to dehydration and, after a vision of a goat telling her to find what brings her joy,. decides to get back together with Scott. However, she feels no romantic feelings towards her ex-boyfriend and instead realizes she truly loves hats. When Hailey asks if she is over Scott, Kristine confirms it and wishes Scott would get together with someone like Hailey.
When organizing the Totally 80s To The Max Dance, the dating app Snack Match becomes popular and she gets cheese as a result. At the dance, she is surprised Jonathan is dressed in 1880s attire and angry that A.C. is in 1780s attire. When Scott is having trouble with his match from Snack Match, Kristine comforts him and helps him realize he took the test wrong and he then gets butter, which is compatible with Hailey's lobster results. After Scott realizes he has feelings for Hailey, she encourages him to confess and tells him that Hailey's crush, Sanjay Singh, is fake. Scott leaves the dance and returns shortly after alone. When Kristine asks what happened, she sees Hailey walking into a gym with Sanjay and is shocked to learn he is real. An embarrassed Scott asks Kristine to keep his crush on Hailey a secret and she agrees as she comforts him.

Kristine sees Hailey as one of her closest friends, though this is mostly one-sided as Hailey does not usually feel the same way. Despite this, Kristine cares deeply for her and was even able to open up to her about her own feelings. In "The Beginning of the Friend", Kristine made it known that she was aware that she and Scott were close friends as she asked her first before dating Scott. Kristine further seems to view Hailey as a confidant, asking her to keep an eye on Scott in case anyone tried to ask him out.
Kristine views Hailey as one of her closest friends, as she offered Hailey a spot on her court of honor for her Quinceañera and apologized for taking her for granted during her hometown visit for Hat House.

Kristine has an open crush on Scott and made it known that she wanted to date him. Her main reason for doing so was because they had "great hair", "people barf on them", and "their birthdays are only 5 and half months apart". Over time, Kristine began to notice flaws in Scott's personality and started to question their time together. She ultimately breaks up with him in "U.F.Whoa!", but in the following episode, it is implied that she still has feelings for him as she demands Hailey to make sure no one else asks him out. She finally gets over him in "How Kristine Goat Her Groove Back" after realizing that she no longer feels anything for him.
A few weeks after returning to Oceanside, Kristine helped Scott realize he did a personality quiz wrong and, upon Scott realizing he has feelings for Hailey, she encourages him to confess his love for her. However when Sanjay Singh - Hailey's supposed made up crush - is revealed to be real, Kristine comforts Scott and agrees to keep his crush a secret.

- Kristine apparently has millinophilia, an extreme love of wearing hats.
- Kristine shares similarities to Casey Calderon from Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Both are interested in fashion, show loving support to the main protagonist, and, interestingly, have triplet cousins.
