Kumail Ali Nanjiani is a Pakistani-American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and podcaster. He is best known for playing Dinesh in the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley (2014–2019), as well as co-writing and starring in the 2017 romantic comedy film The Big Sick. He also voiced Skip Marooch and Jesus Christ in the Fox animated sitcoms: Bob's Burgers and Bless the Harts (respectively), Jay Walker in The LEGO Ninjago Movie, and Plimpton the ostrich in the 2020 Universal Pictures film Dolittle.
For Disney, he voiced the Cuteling Mayor in Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. He also portrayed Stu Prasad in the 2019 Fox film Stuber and Kingo Sunen in the 2021 Marvel film Eternals. Additionally, he played Haja Estree in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
