- Vocals from the song can also heard in The Lion King during the part where Simba tries to catch up with Rafiki who brings Simba to reflect on his Mufasa who tells him to return to the Pride Lands to take his place as king, part of the "Under the Stars" score. Vocals can also be heard in the same scene for the 2019 remake.
- The song was later rewritten for the Broadway adaptation of The Lion King where it is titled "Endless Night".
