"Leave a Little Juice" is the second segment of the fourth episode of the Disney Channel animated series, Kiff.
On March 11, 2023, the episode was released early on Disney+.
Synopsis[]
Kiff needs to have a difficult discussion with Barry about finishing Martin's OJ.
Plot[]
While the Chatterleys are having breakfast, Martin is annoyed to find that the jug of Pulp OJ orange juice that he bought is empty, as Barry has once again drank all the juice. Beryl asks Kiff to tell Barry not to finish all of their orange juice when he visits their home, but Kiff fears that doing so will hurt Barry's feelings.
Later, Kiff and Barry make plans to hang out at Kiff's house. On the way there, Kiff tries to tell Barry not to finish her family's juice again, but she hesitates after seeing Billiam overreact to Candle telling him to take off his muddy shoes before entering her home. At Kiff's house, Kiff is relieved to see that Martin has bought a new jug of juice, believing that Barry is unlikely to finish an entire jug. However, Barry spills his first glass of juice, then gives his second glass to The Pone, who is doing yardwork outside. The Pone accidentally drops the glass, and when Kiff pours new glasses for both Barry and The Pone, they break their glasses while clinking them.
As the day goes on, Barry continues to waste more glasses of juice through a combination of accidents and his own bizarre personal rituals, and he ends up finishing all the juice. Beryl and Martin then return home, and Kiff realizes that it is BLT Night at the Chatterley home – and that Martin drinks orange juice with his BLTs, which means he and Beryl are certain to discover that the jug is empty, and that Kiff failed to talk to Barry about Barry's juice problem. She panics and fills the jug with tap water.
During dinner, Martin pours himself a glass of what he expects to be orange juice, only to discover that the jug is full of water. He decides to drive back to the grocery store to complain, but Kiff tells him that she filled the jug with water because Barry finished all the juice again, as she was unwilling to follow through with the talk. Martin empathizes with Kiff and reckons that Barry might be too delicate to take criticism, so he announces that instead of juice, they can drink from Beryl's pitcher of room-temperature water instead. Knowing that Martin hates her water, Beryl is able to deduce that Kiff failed to give Barry the talk, so Beryl sits Barry down and gently asks him not to finish all the juice when he is visiting. To Kiff and Martin's surprise, Barry is completely fine with Beryl's request.
As thanks for Kiff and Barry's earlier generosity, The Pone visits the Chatterley home to give them a new jug of orange juice, but Martin, who hates him, slams the door on him.
