Leonard H. Goldenson was the President of the U.S. television and radio broadcaster ABC.

He helped Walt Disney finance to build Disneyland, in exchange for a weekly series, which would become The Wonderful World of Disney.

He died 20 days after his 94th birthday.

He was named a Disney Legend in 2004 becoming the first person from ABC to be named a Disney Legend.
