Leopold Ferrier is a character featured in the 2023 film A Haunting in Venice, based on the 1969 novel "Hallowe'en Party" by Agatha Christie. He is portrayed by Irish actor Jude Hill.

Leopold Ferrier, also known as Leo, is the son of Dr. Leslie Ferrier, a family doctor who attends a Halloween party and a séance at the palazzo of Rowena Drake, a former opera singer. Leo accompanies his father to the party, where he meets Hercule Poirot, a retired detective who is invited by his friend Ariadne Oliver, a mystery writer. Leo is a very serious and mature boy, who takes care of his father, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder after serving in World War II. Leo also claims to hear the voices of the orphans who died in the Palazzo during the plague and believes that the building is haunted by their ghosts.
Role in the film[]
Leo plays a significant role in the film's plot, as he is one of the witnesses of the murder of Joyce Reynolds, a medium who conducts the séance and reveals that Rowena's daughter Alicia was killed by someone in the room. Leo also helps Poirot with his investigation, providing him with clues and information about the other guests and their connections to Alicia. Leo also becomes a target of the killer, who tries to silence him and make it look like a suicide. However, Poirot manages to save him and expose the murderer.

- In the original book, Leopold Reynolds is the younger brother of Joyce and gives some insight into what people thought of his sister. He is later murdered via drowning, implied to be due to having witnessed his sister's murder.
