"Like Father" is the second segment of the one hundred-second episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
After spending a week with Bill, Cricket fears he's infected with "Billness."
Plot[]
Cricket and Bill are working together on building a pool table. After a hard day's work, the two go inside where Tilly notices that Cricket has picked up some of Bill's usual habits. Cricket laughs this off until he suddenly gets excited upon hearing that Bill is going to the hardware store. He becomes convinced that he has been infected with "Billness" and will transform into him. Tilly decides to help him overcome his "Bill-like" urges. At the café, Gloria and Gramma Alice begin to argue over each other's work (Gloria running the counter and Alice doing the financials) and decide to swap places for the day to see who has it the hardest.
Alice has trouble with writing the right name down for customers and helping individuals who cannot decide what to order, while Gloria has trouble trying to add up the numbers and get them down to zero. Back at the house, Tilly finds Cricket picking up more habits from Bill and decides to tie him down in an effort to cleanse him. She has Doug Perkins come and tell bad dad jokes, but this causes Cricket to have a personality split. Just then, Bill comes home and when he offers Cricket to help finish off the pool table, Cricket turns him down, believing that he has been cured of Billness.
Gloria and Alice both come to realize that the other's work is difficult and swap back. As they try to figure out who had more to do, Jade tells them that both their jobs are equally difficult based on their own personal experience. They agree that Jade does more. Cricket starts to feel nothing for either is usual hobbies or Bill's and goes to tell him that the reason why he bailed on the pool table was because he was afraid of becoming him. Bill tells him that he is half of him and half of Nancy, but that he is one hundred percent Cricket and he can be anything he chooses to be. They make up and decide to play pool together.
