Ancol Dreamland[]
- The dark ride Istana Boneka strongly resembled It's a Small World, mostly based on the Disneyland version of this boat ride.
Antibes Land[]
- The carousel Aladdin is based on the Disney film of the same name.
- The attractions Carrousel Grand Prix and Cars are based on the Cars franchise.
- Some garbage cans are modeled after Pocahontas and Genie.
Attractiepark Slagharen[]
- The song "The Happy Ending (Heroes and Heroines)" from Disney's Fantillusion was used in the show Miracle of Lights from 2014 till 2016.
Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park[]
- The Fairy Castle resembles the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
- The dome of the attraction Soar in the Sky looks like Epcot's Spaceship Earth, while the attraction itself is often considered a knock-off of the Soarin' rides.
- Some of the park's mascots were costumes of Disney characters like Tigger, the Seven Dwarfs and Goofy. After a copyright infringement controversy, China Daily reported in 2011 that the Disney-themed characters may have been removed from the park.
- One interactive dark ride strongly resembles the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
Bellewaerde[]
- The dark ride Los Piratas (1991-2012) was inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean rides.
Drayton Manor Resort[]
- The dark ride Pirate Adventure (1990-2015) was inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean rides.
Dream World, Thailand[]
- The parks entrance resembles the facade and overall style of the It's a Small World dark rides.
- The Black Hole Coaster, opened in 1994, was called Space Mountain till 2014.
Efteling[]
- According to a persistent rumor, Walt Disney visited the Efteling during preparations for his Disneyland amusement park in California, which opened in 1955. However, this rumor is not true. Former PR man Reinoud van Assendelft de Coningh seems to be responsible for the spread.
- The dark ride Carnaval Festival, opened in 1981, is inspired by It's a Small World.
Europa-Park[]
- The park's mascots, Ed and Edda Euromaus, likely are inspired by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
- The water ride Dschungel-Floßfahrt (1978-2022) was inspired by Jungle Cruise.
- The dark ride Geisterschloss (1982-2023), is inspired by The Haunted Mansion.
- The old version of the dark ride Piraten in Batavia (1987-2018) was inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean.
- The enclosed roller coaster Eurosat (1989-2017) was inspired by Space Mountain. Its dome, which still exists today after the retheming to Eurosat: Can Can Coaster, is inspired by Epcot's Spaceship Earth.
- The dark ride Universum der Energie (1994-2017) was inspired by Universe of Energy, even sharing the same, only translated, name.
Everland[]
- The dark ride Jigu Maul (Global Village) (1985-2016) strongly resembled It's a Small World.
Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village[]
- The enclosed roller coaster Space Mountain, opened in 1992, is often considered a knock-off of Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom park.
Happy Valley Beijing[]
- The dark ride Happy World is inspired by It's a Small World.
Heide Park[]
- The attraction Mississippi Dampfer was a watercraft attraction ride with boats similar to the Disney river boats with one ship (operated from 1986 to 2005) even called Mark Twain. The other ship called Peter Pan operated from 1986 to 2010.
- From 1989 to 2009, the park operated a show called "Vogeltheater". The show, which featured talking and singing bird animatronics, was similar to Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room. Next to the bird animatronics, the show also featured animatronics of dancing frogs, singing trees, and a singing Heidschnucke, a breed of sheep typical for the region in which the park is located. The show was hosted by an animatronic of the bear Wumbo, the park's mascot.
Jinjiang Action Park[]
- The dark ride Welcome to Joyland resembles the It's a Small World rides, mostly based on the Tokyo Disneyland version of the ride.
Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Elstal[]
- During the 2022 "Eiswelt" event, an instrumental version of "Into the Unknown" was used as a soundtrack.
Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park †[]
- There was a video film a knock-off version of It's a Small World ride in Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park in Hong Kong[1], which use a knock-off It's a Small World song in Mandarin language. This amusement park closed in 1997, 11 years before grand opening of It's a Small World in Hong Kong Disneyland.
Legoland Billund Resort[]
- From 2011 till 2019, the exhibition "MINILAND" also contained Star Wars-themed LEGO models and dioramas such as the battle of Kashyyyk, the battle of Hoth and the Mygeeto Campaign.
Legoland California Resort[]
- At the end of the former Fairy Tale Brook ride during the scene where Little Red Riding Hood happily danced with the Wolf, an instrumental version of the song "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" from Three Little Pigs could be heard.
Legoland Deutschland Resort[]
- Between 2011 and 2019, the exhibition "MINILAND" also contained Star Wars-themed LEGO models and dioramas, such as R2-D2, Yoda, and the battle of Kashyyyk.

Legoland Florida Resort[]
- The "LEGO Star Wars MINILAND" is an exhibition of LEGO models and dioramas depicting various scenes from the Star Wars films. Displayed are the worlds Naboo, Geonosis, Kashyyyk, Mustafar, Tatooine, Hoth, Endor, and Jakku. The planet Christophsis was also featured till 2017, until it was replaced with Jakku. It also contains models of Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Rey, R2-D2, and Chewbacca.
Legoland Malaysia Resort[]

Miniatur Wunderland[]
- In the Hamburg section, there is a recreation of the Theater im Hafen together with the The Lion King musical.
- In the America section, there is a drive-in cinema playing the short film For the Birds.
- In November 2025, the temporary space in the Hamburg section was redesigned to coincide with the release of Zootopia 2 and now shows Judy, Nick and Gary at the German premiere of the film.[2]
Movie Park Germany[]
- The Filmmuseum (1996-2013) exhibited Star Wars requisites (e.g. Tusken Raider costume, model of a Star Destroyer) next to other film requisites.
- "Shout" from Sister Act could be heard between 1999 and 2015 in the area Streets of New York.
- Between 1999 and 2015, the "Theme from Armageddon" and the "Main Theme From "Star Wars"" could be heard in the area Hollywood Street Set.
- "Good Life" from Stuck in the Suburbs is used in the Nickland area since 2008.
- Since 2016, you can hear "Tennessee" from Pearl Harbor, "The Scare Floor" from Monsters, Inc., "McQueen and Sally" from Cars, and "Heroes" from Avengers: Age of Ultron in the area Hollywood Street Set.
Nara Dreamland †[]
- The park's castle was modeled after the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
- The park's Main Street resembled the Main Street, U.S.A.
- The roller coaster Bobsleigh was inspired by the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
- Two other attractions resembled the Jungle Cruise and Autopia.

- The dark ride Fantasía (1989-2015) was inspired by It's a Small World.
- The tow boat ride La Jungla is inspired by Jungle Cruise.
Phantasialand[]
- The area Berlin (till 2009: Alt Berlin), that exists since 1970, is inspired by the Main Street, U.S.A. area in the original Disneyland.
- The water rides Seeräuberfahrt nach Carthagena (1968-1978) and Wikingerbootsfahrt (1979-1999) were inspired by Jungle Cruise.
- The carrousel Jumbo (1978-2000) was first named Dumbo, but the name was later changed because of copyright reasons.
- Around 1978-1982, two mascots of the park looked like Pinocchio.
- The dark ride Geister Rikscha, which opened in 1981, is inspired by The Haunted Mansion.
- The enclosed roller coaster Space Center (1988-2001) was inspired by Space Mountain.
- The dark ride Hollywood Tour (1990-2020) was inspired by The Great Movie Ride and featured an underwater scene from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
- The motion simulator Galaxy (1994-2005) was inspired by Star Tours. Its dome, which existed till 2016 after the retheming to Race for Atlantis, was inspired by Epcot's Spaceship Earth.
- The roller coaster Colorado Adventure, opened in 1996, is inspired by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
- During the RoboCop-Show (1999-2000), the "Imperial March" and the "Star Wars Main Theme" were played.
- During the 1999 Festival der Lichter, three soundtracks from Mulan ("Short Hair", "Attack At The Wall", "The Huns Attack") were played.
- In the show, L'Ar(c)tistique (2000-2003), "The Gorillas" from Tarzan, "Reflections of Earth" from the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration, and "... To Die For" from The Lion King, as well as "Mulan's Suite" and "Reflection" from Mulan were played.
- "Disneyland" from the show Fantasmic! was played during the finale of the winter shows A Dream Comes True (2002-2006) and Nur geträumt? (2006-2008)
- In the show Arachnomé (2004-2008), four themes from Con Air ("Con Air Theme", "Lerner Landing", "Romantic Chaos", "Overture"), "Enemy Of The State Main Theme", five themes from Pocahontas ("Pocahontas", "Das Farbenspiel des Windes", "Farewell", "If I Never Knew You", "I'll Never See Him Again"), "Promise" and "Reflections of Earth" from the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration, and "Swords Crossed" from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl could be heard.
- Between 2004 and 2008, "Mulan's Suite" was played during the show China Artistik.
- Mulan's Suite was also the last song of the Asia Nights event between 2005 and 2006 and between 2011 and 2015.
- Between 2007 and 2015, "The Battle" from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was played in the waiting area of the top spin Talocan, while "The Blitz 1940" from the same film was heard during the ride and "Tapir Hunt" from Apocalypto was played during checking.
- Between 2007 and 2009, "They Live In You", "Rafiki Mourns", and "He Lives In You (Reprise)" from the The Lion King musical could be heard in the winter season in the area Deep in Africa.
- The music from the Share a Dream Come True Parade was used in the finale of the show Arte Lumina in 2009.
- During the 2010 Silvester fireworks, "Ride On My Good Man" and "God Bless Us Everyone" from A Christmas Carol could be heard.
- At the beginning of the winter show Crazy Christmas (2011-2019), "Overture" from The Nightmare Before Christmas could be heard while the "End Title" of the film was playing at the end of the show.
- During the 2011 Silvester fireworks, "He's A Pirate" from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and the Star Wars Main Title could be heard.
- The "Sorcerer's Apprentice Suite" from The Sorcerer's Apprentice was used during the 2012 show Sieben: Die Suche nach der wahren Magie.
- During the 2012 Silvester fireworks, "Son of Man" and "Trashin' The Camp" from the Tarzan musical, as well as "Circle Of Life" from The Lion King could be heard.
- From 2013 till 2020, "Probier's mal mit Gemütlichkeit" from The Jungle Book can be heard in the kids show Hack & Buddl.
- In the winter show 5 vor Weihnachten (2013-2015), "What's This?" from The Nightmare Before Christmas could be heard as the theme for Santa Claus.
- "He Lives In You" from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride could be heard during the 2013 Fantasypride.
- During the 2013 Silvester fireworks, "Finale (William Tell Overture)" from The Lone Ranger was used.
- During the 2015 Asia Nights, three soundtracks from Mulan (Mulan's Suite, "Short Hair", "Blossoms") were played.
- During the 2015 Silvester fireworks, "Main Theme from Star Wars", "Wheel of Fortune" from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid, and "Strong" from Cinderella were played.
- "Oogie Boogie's Song" from The Nightmare Before Christmas could be heard in the show Musarteum: Die Show zur Geisterstunde (2017-2018).
- In the winter show Crazy Christmas (2017-2019), "Sei Hier Gast" from Beauty and the Beast was used. The "Overture" from The Nightmare Before Christmas was used at the show's beginning. During the snow and dancing scenes, the songs "Everything Is Not What It Seems" and "Magic" of the series Wizards of Waverly Place were used.
- In the winter seasons 2017/18-2021/22, the songs "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", "Christmas Soul", "Winter Wonderland", and "Christmas Is Coming" from the album Disney Channel Holiday Playlist were played in the area "Fantasy".
- Since 2018, "Christmas Eve Montage" from The Nightmare Before Christmas, "Im Sommer" from Frozen, "Dir gehört mein Herz" from the Tarzan musical, and "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from The Nutcracker and the Four Realms can be heard in the winter show Talvia. Ein Wintermärchen. In the winter season 2018/19, "Endlich sehe ich das Licht" from Tangled could be heard in the show too.
- Between 2019 and 2022, "Reflections of Earth" from the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration is played at the end of the winter show Der goldene Faden.
- "Der ewige Kreis" from The Lion King, "Let it Go" from Frozen, and "Ich bin bereit" from Moana were played during the inlet of the 2019 Fantasypride.
- In the 2021 show Nobis, "A Whole New World" from Aladdin was used. In the 2022 version of the show, "Launch" and "Leaving" from Armageddon were used. In the 2023 version, "Theme from Armageddon" and "Launch" from the same film were used.
- In the winter season 2023/24, "Friends on the Other Side" from The Princess and the Frog were used in the show Spectaculum Phantastère.
Plopsaland Deutschland[]
- "This Is Halloween" from The Nightmare Before Christmas could be heard during the Schocktober im Oktober Halloween event in 2010.
Safari World[]
- The boat ride River Safari was inspired by Jungle Cruise.
Sesame Place[]
- During The Count's Halloween Spooktacular event, there is a special seasonal overlay of the Sesame Street Party Parade (formerly known as the Neighborhood Street Party). One of the featured songs in this version of the parade is "This is Halloween" from The Nightmare Before Christmas, performed by Murray, Telly, and Rosita.
Six Flags Over Georgia[]
- The parks featured a former boat ride called Tales of the Okefenokee, which was inspired by Song of the South and also known as a possible influence on Splash Mountain. The ride opened with the park in 1967 and operated for 13 years before closing in 1980, nearly 10 years before Splash Mountain opened in Disneyland. Tony Baxter, the creator of Splash Mountain, had ridden Tales of the Okefenokee many times prior to its closure in 1980.
Suzhou Amusement Land †[]
- The dark ride Fairy Tale World (formerly Small World) was considered a knock-off of the It's a Small World rides, based on the Magic Kingdom version of this boat ride. The ride used a knock-off It's a Small World song in English language.
- There was a ride in Suzhou Amusement Land that resembles Epcot's ride Spaceship Earth.
Tivoli World †[]
- The park's dark ride Pinocchio contained animatronics very similar in appearance to the Disney characters. The ride closed in 2020, together with the park.
Toverland[]
- The soundtracks "The Queen of Faerieland" and "Welcome to the Moors" from Maleficent were played during the the fireworks of Midzomeravonden 2015.
Universal Studios[]
- The Pixar Ball made an appearance in the Rugrats section of the former attraction Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast, with its correct color scheme (unlike in the Rugrats TV series, in which it is colored green with an orange star and a blue or purple stripe).
- The queue area for The Simpsons Ride features advertisements for fictional attractions, some of which are parodies of Disney attractions, including Captain Dinosaur's Pirate Rip-Off (a parody of Pirates of the Caribbean), The Sea Captain's Queasy Time Lagoon Adventure (a parody of Jungle Cruise), Krusty's Haunted Condo (a parody of The Haunted Mansion), Hall of the Secretaries of the Interior (a parody of The Hall of Presidents), and Four Food Groups Singing Spectacular (a parody of Kitchen Kabaret and Food Rocks). The map of Krustyland also features the aforementioned attractions as well as parodies of other Disney attractions, including It's a Long, Long Line (a parody of It's a Small World) and Sleeping Itchy's Castle (a parody of Sleeping Beauty Castle). Krustyland itself is described as "The Krusty-est Place on Earth", a reference to the Disney Parks' slogan, "The Happiest Place on Earth". In the pre-show video that plays before boarding, Homer points out that he and his family are going to be the first people to ride the roller coaster and compares it to "that space guy" that did "the space thing". Bart asks if he means Neil Armstrong, but Homer says no, and says he meant Chewbacca.
- In Jurassic Park: The Ride, a Disneyland Mickey Mouse ears hat could be seen floating in the water in one scene.
Vialand[]
- The dark ride Minik Kaşifler was a knock-off of It's a Small World ride, mostly based on the Disneyland Paris version, with the exterior similar to the Magic Kingdom version. Interestingly, the dolls in this knock-off ride were later used in another It's a Small World knock-off ride in the Wonderland Eurasia/Ankapark, called Small World Turkiye (see below).
Wonderland Eurasia/Ankapark †[]
- This amusement park featured a knock-off of the It's a Small World ride, called Small World Turkiye. Interestingly, this boat ride used the same dolls from another It's a Small World knock-off ride in Vialand, called Minik Kaşifler. Like Minik Kaşifler, this ride was mostly based on the Disneyland Paris version of It's a Small World, except for the exterior which was similar to the Disneyland version.
