• Some of the vocal effects Frank Welker provides for Little Monkey, sound similar to the vocal effects he provided for Abu from Aladdin.
• Monkey was played by several monkeys, one of the most notable being Crystal the Monkey, who wore fake fur for continuity reasons. Her "boyfriend" Mr. Binx interacted with Brendan Fraser who did not have any pleasant memories working with the animal.
