She asks for a loaf of bread to bring her poor old hungry granny in the woods. Before she takes a bit out of the cookie she stole.

Next, she is seen paying [[The Baker (Into the Woods)|the Baker]] as he hands her a loaf of bread. Shen then tells them that it's time to go, she hates to leave, but she has to into the woods to begin her journey. She tells them that she has to go into the woods and through the trees to where she is expected and into the woods to Grandmother's house (she says with a mouthful of bread that she stole). [[The Baker's Wife]] asks her is she's certain she knows her way. Little Red Riding Hood states that they way is clear, the light is good, and that she has no fear like know one should and that the woods are just trees and the trees are just wood and she sort of hates to ask for basket as she helps herself to some bread, which the Baker's Wife gladly gives her and tells her not to stray and be late. The Baker asks if she plans on buying on the sweets, but the Baker's Wife dismisses it and sends Little Red Riding Hood on her way, but not before stealing another sweet.
