"Look Out for Mr. Stork" is a song in the film Dumbo. It was featured at the very beginning when a team of storks are spending the night delivering babies to various circus animals. Throughout it, all the animals receive babies from the storks--except for Mrs. Jumbo, who did not do so.
Lyrics[]
Look out for Mr. Stork
That persevering chap
He'll come along and drop
A bundle in your lap
You may be poor or rich
It doesn't matter which
Millionaires, they get theirs
Like the butcher and the baker
So look out for Mr. Stork
And let me tell you, friend
Don't try to get away
He'll find you in the end
He'll spot you out in China or he'll fly to County Cork
So you better look out for Mr. Stork
(instrumental bridge)
Look out for Mr. Stork
He's got you on his list
And when he comes around
It's useless to resist
Remember those quintuplets and the woman in the shoe
Maybe he's got his eye on you
Beware! Beware!
There's trouble in the air.
A funny looking bird is dropping presents ev'rywhere.
Beware! Beware!
It's useless to resist,
You'd better have a care,
Maybe he's on your list.
He'll fly along the stratosphere,
Then do a "loop-the-loop"
And make a perfect landing
Right on your front stoop.
Look out for Mister Stork
That persevering chap
He'll come along and drop
A bundle in your lap
You may be poor or rich
It doesn't matter which
Millionaires, they get theirs
Like the butcher and the baker
So look out for Mister Stork
And let me tell you, friend
Don't try to get away
He'll find you in the end
He'll spot you out in China or he'll fly to County Cork
So you better look out for Mister Stork
Look out for Mister Stork
That persevering chap
He'll come along and drop
A bundle in your lap
You may be poor or rich
It doesn't matter which
Millionaires, they get theirs
Like the butcher and the baker
So look out for Mister Stork
Who calls at all the zoos
With little teddy bears
And baby kangaroos
I tell you he's persistent
And he'll find you in the end
Your old fine-feathered friend!
