Lord Dingwall is a character in the 2012 Disney/Pixar animated feature film, Brave. He was voiced by Robbie Coltrane.
Background
Authoritarian and quick-tempered, the scrappy Lord Dingwall doesn't let being height-challenged get in the way of solving his problems with fisticuffs. Never one to shy away from an old-fashioned fracas or high spirited kerfuffle, he has no qualms talking on even the burliest adversary to assert his own position in the kingdom. But he has still has a nicer side.
Trivia
- As he does appear to be older than King Fergus, he may have been the first among the lords to bear children--either that, or he waited to have children much later in life than King Fergus and the other two lords.
- While he declared Young Dingwall as "[his] only son," its unknown if Young Dingwall is an only child (meaning that he has no siblings).
