Lord Dingwall is a character in the 2012 Disney/Pixar animated feature film, Brave. He was voiced by Robbie Coltrane.

Background

Authoritarian and quick-tempered, the scrappy Lord Dingwall doesn't let being height-challenged get in the way of solving his problems with fisticuffs. Never one to shy away from an old-fashioned fracas or high spirited kerfuffle, he has no qualms talking on even the burliest adversary to assert his own position in the kingdom. But he has still has a nicer side.

Trivia

As he does appear to be older than King Fergus, he may have been the first among the lords to bear children. Either that, or he waited to have children much later in life than King Fergus and the other two lords.
While he declared Young Dingwall as "[his] only son," its unknown if Young Dingwall is an only child (meaning that he has no siblings).
