Lyrics
<poem>
Mr. Narrator: Now a book has a cover
They can see you such a prize
A title or picture to draw you inside
A spine alters pages together within
The length of the story makes a book thick or thin
But the spine of the cover are only the surface
You open the book to give it a purpose.
Lost in a book
Lost in a book
A world full of wonder
Wherever you look
Find your way home
It's easy to do
Get lost in a book
And you'll learn something new
Now the table of contents contains every clue
To where you must go, where to read, what to do
Pooh: But there are so many letters
Mr. Narrator: Why, there are seeds to make words
With stories will blossom with each page you turn
Search for a chapter
Pooh: Find a lost friend
Start at the top
Or skip to the end
Read every word so you finish the text
See what happens first and what happens next
Both: Lost in a book
Lost in a book
A world full of wonder
Wherever you look
Mr. Narrator: But stay with the book
And the book stays with you
Both: Each time you get lost
You will find something new
Mr. Narrator: After all.
In a book is where I found you.
