The Lothal Jedi Temple Is a place that appears in Star Wars Rebels.It is an ancient temple used as a base of retreat for the Jedi. The temple was completely abandoned at some point, but it has not been forgotten.

The interior is composed of ancient ruins with murals and old skeleton of the Jedi masters whose padawan never returned
History
About 4 years before the Battle of Yavin, a surviving Jedi named Kanan Jarrus and his apprentice Ezra Bridger, have gone in search of the temple for completing the training of Ezra.
They use the Force to pull out the entrance door to the Temple. Once entered Ezra notices many skeletons, Kanan explained to him that it was a Jedi master whose padawans had never returned after passing a piece to pass the test.
Kanan stays inside the room as Ezra enters a room where the door suddenly closed. Once inside Ezra seen from many forms of illusion which reflects his fear that he had to overcome to continue. Once he had succeeded he entered briefly into communication with Yoda and found a Kyber cristal. Kanan also came into contact with Yoda while he waited for Ezra
One year later, Kanan, Ezra and Ahsoka Tano go to the temple to seek advice from Yoda. Later two Inquisitors named Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister found the Jedi trace and also had discovered the temple. They succeeded in entering but was confronted with the spirit of the Grand Inquisitor and the Jedi Temple Guards While the three jedi fled.
Darth Vader enters in the Jedi Temple
Soon after that, Imperial forces led by Darth Vader arrived and secured the temple. Vader entered the temple and congratulated the two inquisitors for their discovery and that his master would be very happy to learn it. The Fifth Brother prevent Vader that the Jedi mastered their power better and better. Vader announced that this would cause their loss.
