Lucita Perez is a supporting character in the 2024 Disney Channel animated series Primos. She is the youngest of the primos at three years old and the most adorable and innocent.

Lucita is a small and cute little girl, who, at times, displays a much more intelligent and supportive side to her. She is very comforting towards her older brother, Scooter whenever he panics and seems to acknowledge Lita's recklessness. She does occasionally show off her more manipulative side, but she is not malicious about it and does it mainly to prove a point or teach someone a lesson.
Physical appearance[]
Lucita is a toddler of Afro-Latina descent with curly brown hair tied into two Afro puffs, and brown eyes. She apparently wears small pink ear stubs, aqua green cochlear implants, fairy wings, a pink shirt, yellow pants with a star pattern, and aqua green shoes.
Trivia[]
- The character was originally named Cookita and remained so until the unveiling of the intro theme. However, the name faced criticism due to it sounding too similar to an inappropriate Spanish word. The character was renamed Lucita as a result.
- Incidentally, Lucita was what her prima Toñita was originally going to be named.
- In the original edit of "Summer of Tater", when hearing the name Cookita, Nellie exclaims, "Cookita? That's gotta be a nickname," implying that its odd origin was intentional. In the final version, she asks, "Was that always her name?"
- When the series premiered on Disney+, the subtitles still listed her as Cookita. This has since been fixed.
- Lucita, along with Gordita, ChaCha, and Baby Bud are the only Primos with defined eye colors, though in Lucita's case they only show every now and then.
- Lucita wears cochlear implants as a reference to her voice actress Sarah Tubert, who is also deaf. Lucita knows American Sign Language (ASL).
