Mads Mikkelsen is a Danish actor and dancer who has been confirmed to star in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
His other roles include Le Chiffre in the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale and also played the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the TV Series Hannibal from 2013 to 2015. He will also play an unknown character in Doctor Strange. He also played Tristan in King Arthur. In the Danish version of Monsters, Inc., he played Randall Boggs, and he is also the Danish Voice of Chick Hicks from Cars.
Prior to acting Mads was a professional dancer.
