Mae Thompson is Russ Sr.'s wife and Russ Jr. and Ron's mother in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

Mae is rather friendly with the Szalinskis, particularly Diane. She doesn't like getting into huge arguments, even if she tries to discuss things a little more properly with Russ. She also supports her sons in not being pushed so much, and constantly tries to reassure Russ of some things, while even telling him that there are some things he'd need to know of himself.
