"Magic Enemy #1" is the forty-sixth episode of the Disney Channel Original Series American Dragon: Jake Long.
Plot[]
Jake was being convinced by Trixie to take up blogging (while Spud was hooked on internet videos), when Rotwood shares out his profile on the school gossip page mocking Jake and other magical creatures in an attempt to expose the Magical Community to the world as he swore that he would do so by his 47th birthday (due to a typo when he wrote it out) in a week, and will do absolutely everything to make Jake crack since discovering his identity as a dragon as well as the Magus Bazaar. That night, Jake blogs his feelings about Rottwood on the internet. While Trixie thinks this will affect his reputation more (especially since Jake's username was Am Drag), Jake was certain that no one at school will know that username and that no one else would care about the blog since there were so many online, unaware that the Magical Community also has access to the cyberspace. Not only do they discover the blog, they also share Jake's grudge against Rottwood and his point of view on magical creatures as he continues to pressure the American Dragon into exposing himself. By the time Jake blogged that he would give anything to Rotwood out of his life, the Magical Community suspect a large reward for doing so as they believe famous people like the American Dragon were rich, which attracts the more shadier creatures to the prospect of easy money for capturing a human.
Meanwhile, Jake was on the verge of being voted the freakiest student in school and was figuring out ways to turn his image around. Trixie stated there were bigger freaks out there than him, like Spud who was trying to make his own internet videos as a zombie band geek, and that Jake should be fine as long as he avoids any weird stuff for the rest of week. Just then, a harpy provoked a fight with Jake which leads to him fighting her off. As the harpy leaves, she dropped a wanted poster that shows a picture of Rotwood and a million dollar reward for his capture.
After informing Lao Shi (who had issues twitch the internet) and Fu Dog about the situation, they go to the Magic underworld to find out who set the bounty, with the former ordering Jake and his friends to protect Rotwood from any creature that tries to get him without Rotwood being aware of any of it.
As Jake and the others keep the other creatures at bay from Rotwood as he continues to get his proof of magical creatures (sending Jake up further in the freak campaign and driving him to blog more), Lao Shi and Fu Dog question the Magic Community for information about who ordered Rotwood's capture with very little luck. Eventually, they find the Sara and Kara, who showed them that this all came out of context from Jake's blog. As Jake was blogging some more, Fu Dog called him about what happened. He tried to write out the misunderstanding, but the Magical Community suspects that Rotwood forced him to say this and rally together to free Jake and get Rotwood.
Jake tries to warn Rotwood, but fails to convince him when a circus troupe of goblins arrive for the bounty. Jake squares off with them and, with Rotwood's help, takes them down before the rest of the Magical Community arrives for Rotwood. Jake takes him out of danger to explain everything at his house.
Rotwood learned that Jake's blog was the reason the magical creatures were after him, and Lao Shi tells his grandson that all gossip is poisonous regardless of form when Jake stated that he thought his blog was a place to vent. Despite this, Rotwood (knowing how it feels to be ridiculed) admits to being very unfair to Jake and deserved all of this for trying to expose the Magical Community. As he considers getting a second job, Jake comes up with an idea to satisfy them both and gives Rotwood the best birthday present: a bunch of magical creatures such as Unicorns, Pixies, Trolls, Leprechauns, Kelpies, Wood Nymphs, Cyclopses, Ogres, Centaurs, Giants, Hags, Werewolves, Gnomes, Elves, Mermen, Ooze Men, Hobgoblins, and other creatures, who were informed by Jake that he collected the bounty (which they no longer remember how it got started) and were irritated by Rotwood (after Jake tells him that he should stay away from the magical world for now after this) fanning over them.
Back at school, Rotwood calls off the freak category from the school ballot and clears out all the rumors about Jake Long, satisfying the deal between them in addition to the swag he got at the Magus Bazaar. Secretly, Rotwood got some secret video evidence recorded, but when he tried to upload it he finds it was switched by one of Spud's videos while Jake incinerates the real evidence, much to Rotwood's iration.
In the credit scene, Jake teaches his grandfather how to blog, but he has trouble knowing what to type. Jake tells him to type what he feels, but eventually gives up when Lao Shi types that he's hungry and fails to see the fun in blogging ("More like blorring.").
