Marc Evan Platt is an American film, TV, and theatre producer who has won several award nominations. He is the founder of the self-named Marc Platt Productions, responsible for films such as the Legally Blonde series, Josie and the Pussycats, The Perfect Man, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Bridge of Spies, and La La Land. He also served as an executive producer for the TV series Empire and produced the Broadway play, Wicked.
For Disney, he produced the 2014 fantasy film, Into the Woods and the 2018 fantasy sequel, Mary Poppins Returns.
