"March of the Lava Monsters" is the second segment of the one hundred and eighth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on June 21, 2016 alongside "Attack of the Pirate Piranhas", and is the second segment of the thirteenth episode in the fourth season.
Plot[]
At Belch Mountain, Sharky and Bones are roasting their marshmallows when Captain Hook reminds them that his crew came to find the fiery eye of Molta. The magic medallion, which is hidden within the lava pit, will unleash an unbelievable power. Sharky and Bones have been searching for the medallion for hours when Bones reveals to have been sitting on a treasure chest. Captain Hook opens it, revealing the fiery eye of Molta. Its high temperature causes Captain Hook's crew to drop it into the pit, causing Belch Mountain to burp purple smoke.
Skully notices it and informs Jake, Izzy, and Cubby of such. They then go to take a closer look. After a while, a Lava Monster named Chief Molta arrives while wearing the medallion, scaring Sharky and Bones away. Captain Hook introduces himself as Chief Molta's master, but Chief Molta awakens two more Lava Monsters. Captain Hook plans to have his own army, but Chief Molta sends Captain Hook's crew away. Mr. Smee tells Jake and his crew of such, and the Lava Monsters throw fireballs at their path.
Chief Molta plans to turn Neverland into Lava Land by draining Belch Mountain of its lava. Jake decides to make sure it won't happen. Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones plan to help Captain Hook stop the Lava Monsters, but Captain Hook is only interested in getting the medallion back so he can create his own army of Lava Monsters.
Jake and his crew launch the coconuts, but the Lava Monsters burn them easily. Captain Hook's attempt to take the medallion fails, and Mr. Smee tosses a bucket of water onto Chief Molta. Jake and his crew notice this and decides to give the Lava Monsters a good soaking. Izzy, Cubby, and Skully throw more buckets of water onto the Lava Monsters. Jake uses his water cannon and plans for his crew to push the Lava Monsters to the beach.
After his crew toss buckets of water on him, Captain Hook comes up with an idea to get the medallion back after a suggestion by Sharky. Meanwhile, Jake and his crew send the Lava Monsters to the edge of the Never Sea, where they stand together and form a hotter version of Chief Molta. Jake and his crew are forced to retreat, and Cubby mentions that an ocean of water is needed. Jake knows someone who can get it for them.
Captain Hook decides to take the medallion with his super insulated suit and his over mitt-hook when he gets stepped on by Chief Molta, who chases Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones. Jake engages Bucky's super scoop just as Chief Molta creates a river of lava. Izzy and Cubby fire Bucky's water cannons on Chief Molta, and as Bucky prepares for the big drop, Chief Molta swats the ship into the sky. With the lava continuing to flow, Bucky returns with the big water drop, cracking the medallion, and Chief Molta turns into stone. Skully then disintegrates it with a single touch, plugging the lava.
Bucky then takes Jake and his crew to Pirate Island, where they put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest while also planning to celebrate with a frosty mug of cold coconut smoothies. Meanwhile on Belch Mountain, Captain Hook laments about being singed, scorched, and smashed flat as a pancake. Mr. Smee and Sharky are continuing to roast marshmallows while Bones dumps popping corn, resulting in one big blast which lands on Captain Hook's crew. Bones then eats a popcorn.
