Maria Valcheva Bakalova is a Bulgarian actress and film producer. She is best known for her role as Tutar Sagdiyev in the 2020 mockumentary Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. For her performance in the film, she won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress, and received nominations at the Academy Awards, the BAFTA Film Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
For Disney, she voiced Cosmo the Spacedog in the 2022 Marvel Cinematic Universe TV special The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, the 2023 film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the 2026 film Avengers: Doomsday.
