Maria Elizabeth Sheldon Bamford is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and voice actress who is best known for her portrayal of her dysfunctional family and self-deprecating comedy involving jokes about depression and anxiety. Some of her well-known roles include voicing Manfried, Slime Princess, Raggedy Princess, Guardian Angel, Duchess of Nuts, and Huntress Wizard in the Cartoon Network series Adventure Time; Shriek in the Nickelodeon series CatDog; Nora Beady in Barnyard and its spin-off TV series; Mayor Dixie in Hey Arnold!; and Kelsey Jannings in the Netflix adult animated black comedy series, BoJack Horseman. Her life story is the subject of the 2016 Netflix original comedy series Lady Dynamite, in which she plays the lead role.

For Disney, she voiced Jackie Wackerman in Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil; The President of Island City, Matthews, Mrs. Monkenfluffer, Land Shark, Nancy, and Nug in Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero; and Make-up Blast in the Star vs. the Forces of Evil episode "Spider With a Top Hat". She also voiced Pepper in the ABC TV show Downward Dog.
