Marisa Tomei is an American actress. Following her work on the CBS television series As the World Turns, she came to prominence as a cast member on the NBC Cosby Show spin-off A Different World in 1987. After having minor roles in a few movies, Tomei came to international fame in 1992 with the Fox comedy film My Cousin Vinny (in which she received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress). She is also well-known for voicing Bree Blackburn in the 2002 Nickelodeon animated film The Wild Thornberrys Movie.
For Disney, she portrayed Aunt May in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in the films Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. She also played Maggie in Wild Hogs, Tracy in the 1986 Miramax/Universal film Playing for Keeps, Lisa Provolone in the 1991 Touchstone Pictures film Oscar, Margaret in Four Rooms, Monica in Unhook the Stars, Nina in Welcome to Sarajevo, and Natalie Strout in In the Bedroom.

- Before both of them appeared in Captain America: Civil War, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. starred in the 1994 film Only You, where they played love interests. Downey Jr. even recommended Tomei as the role of Aunt May.
- Tomei said her favourite moments from filming the Spider-Man trilogy were watching Tom Holland and Zendaya growing up and falling in love.[1]
