Mark Alan Ruffalo is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He is well known for his roles in films, such as 13 Going on 30, Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind, Zodiac, and Now You See Me.
For Disney, he played Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, What If...?, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Avengers: Doomsday. He also played Ted Stewart in the 2003 Miramax comedy film View from the Top and cameoed as a nameless doctor in the 2008 drama film Blindness and Duncan Wedderburn in the 2023 black comedy film Poor Things.

- He replaced Edward Norton, who played Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk. Starting with Thor: Ragnarok, he also replaced Lou Ferrigno as the voice of the "Hulk" persona.
- He holds the honor of being the first actor to reprise his role as Banner in a theatrical live-action film, and the second overall, after Bill Bixby.
- Ruffalo was uncredited for his Bruce Banner/Hulk cameo in Iron Man 3.
