Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known by his pen name Mark Twain was an American author and humorist best known for his books The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

In the Disney theme parks, Mark Twain serves as the namesake and narrator of the Mark Twain Riverboat attractions. He also serves as a host of Epcot's The American Adventure opposite Benjamin Franklin.

Mark Twain appears as a character in the 1991 telefilm Mark Twain and Me, played by Jason Robards.

In the backstory of the 2015 film Tomorrowland, Mark Twain is an early member of Plus Ultra, reflecting his friendship with inventor Nikola Tesla.
