Marley is an upcoming Christmas musical film, produced by Walt Disney Pictures. The film will be written and directed by Bill Condon, with Din Jinks and Greg Yole producing. A spin-off of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, it was announced in October 28, 2019, througth no release date was announced.^[1]

Plot

"Marley will re-imagine the classic Christmas tale through the eyes of Ebenezer Scrooge’s deceased business partner Jacob Marley".^[1]

Trivia

The film marks the second time Bill Condon directed a film for Disney, after 2017's Beauty and the Beast. It also marks his first time writing a film for Disney.
The film marks the first time Stephen Schwartz worked in a theatrical Disney movie without Alan Menken.
- The film is also the first time Schwartz worked on a Disney film since 2007's Enchanted.
This is the fourth time Disney has adapted A Christmas Carol, following 1983's Mickey's Christmas Carol, 1992's The Muppet Christmas Carol, and 2009's A Christmas Carol.
