Marshall is the main protagonist of the Under Wraps franchise. He is a monster movie loving kid who encounters Harold the Mummy and tries to help him with the aid of his friends.

Marshall is portrayed as having a bit of an attitude. While he is a friendly and eager kid, he is prone to cynicism and sarcasm, especially with Amy. Marshall acts tougher than how he is actually feeling to hide his emotions about his mother dating another man and struggles to accept the changes in his life. Upon meeting Harold, he slowly begins to open up and displays a more heroic and clever side to him.
Remake and sequel[]
Marshall is much kinder and more fun-loving in the remake, but still has trouble expressing himself about his mother's new boyfriend. He is much more put upon by those around him, but keeps a more upbeat, and slightly comedic attitude. He is much more attracted to the things involving Harold and takes more advantage of his new mummified friend, but never in a harmful manner, showing that he is a good-hearted kid.
