Martha Ravenswood is a character from Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris. She was the wife of Henry Ravenswood and the mother of Melanie. She was a devoted, caring and loving woman who supported and loved her family and the other residents of Thunder Mesa. She died, along with her husband, in a tragic earthquake in 1860. Born in 1802, Martha Ravenswood was 58 years old at the time of her death. Despite the above description, her epitaph on Boot Hill suggests she and her husband didn't get along, as it reads, "Quarreled And Fought As Man And Wife; Now Silent Together Beyond This Life"
It is speculated that, among other things, one of the causes of their marital dischord was her husband's wandering eye, suggested by Anna Jones, the "faithful chambermaid's" grave, which reads, "Kept The Master Happier"(as counterpart to the manservant, Jasper Jones's "Kept The Master Happy").
