Martha Ravenswood is a character from Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris.
History[]
Martha Ravenswood was born in 1802 and would come to marry a man named Henry Ravenswood with whom she had a daughter named Mélanie. In 1849, Henry stole Indigenous shoshone land in the Big Thunder Mountain range of Arizona where he founded the Big Thunder Mining Company and the town of Thunder Mesa. Here, the family would move into the grand estate of Ravenswood Manor.
Henry was however a possessive father who kept Mélanie locked in the manor until she was of age with only the servants as company. Henry also slept with the maid, Anna Jones and constantly fought with Martha. Both Martha and Henry died in 1860 when and earthquake hit Thunder Mesa.

Trivia[]
- While it is likely Martha became undead, it is unknown what her posthumous fate is as she isn't seen in the attraction. It's possible she's been trying to protect her daughter from her husband who was the Phantom.
