Martin Hayter Short, OC is a Canadian-American comedian, actor, writer, singer, and producer, who is perhaps best known for his comedy works on Second City Television and Saturday Night Live, and for voicing Ooblar in Nickelodeon's Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Stefano in DreamWorks' Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, and Hubie, the protagonist of the MGM animated film The Pebble and the Penguin.
He had multiple Disney roles. He portrayed Martin Harvey in Captain Ron, Franck Eggelhoffer in Father of the Bride and its 1995 sequel, Richard Kempster in Jungle 2 Jungle, and Jack Frost in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. He also voiced B.E.N. in Treasure Planet; Lars in 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure; Edward Frankenstein, Mr. Burgermeister, and Nassor in Frankenweenie; and Mr. Kurokawa in the English dub of Studio Ghibli's The Wind Rises.
He also hosted the second version of the O Canada! film at Epcot's at Canada Pavilion, starred in CinéMagique at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris, starred in the Monster Sound Show at Disney's Hollywood Studios, hosted The Making of Me at the former Wonders of Life pavilion at Epcot, and guest-starred on an episode of Muppets Tonight.
