Amidst the skirmish, Cal forces the gunship the Ninth Sister was on to crash-land on a landing platform, where he and the Inquisitor engaged in a lightsaber duel. After slashing through her armor, Cal calls out to Masa using her real name, trying to convince her to turn back to the light side. Unmoved, the injured and furious Inquisitor made one last attempt on Cal's life by charging at him, only for the young Jedi to dodge her attack and brought his own blade down Masana's neck, decapitating her and ending her life.
