Matthew "Matt" Youngberg is an American writer, animator, storyboard artist, director, and producer, who is best known as co-creator of the 2017 DuckTales reboot alongside Francisco Angones.
Youngberg began his career as a storyboard artist for Batman Beyond in 2000 while still attending California Institute of the Arts. After graduating, he would go on to direct episodes of various series for Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network, such as Ben 10 Omniverse, The Batman, Teen Titans, and Transformers: Animated[1].
He would eventually move over to Disney to help co-create DuckTales (2017) alongside Francisco Angones. In addition to writing and directing several episodes, he has provided in-house additional animation for "Woo-oo!".
